What Happens When A Man’s Testosterone Is Low?
Testosterone is an important male hormone since it is responsible for the male physical characteristics like a deep voice.
When a man has low testosterone, he experiences:
- A decline in physical energy
- Decreased strength

In males, a progressive decline in testosterone is expected. The older the man is the more likely he to experience testosterone levels that are below normal. A doctor can conduct and blood test to determine whether it is indeed low testosterone that is the issue and recommend treatment if it is needed.
